Conventional memory foam is typically made from petroleum-based polyurethane. It responds slowly, can trap heat, and often leaves you feeling like you’re sinking in.

Our patented Beyond Latex® organic foam is made from hevea milk, the natural sap of the rubber tree, along with organic essential oils and natural plant extracts. It offers the pressure relief people love about memory foam, but responds quickly as you move, sleeps cooler, and supports you without that stuck feeling.

Every Essentia mattress is also made to our Beyond Organic® Standard: non-toxic, low-VOC, free of toxic flame retardants, and with no wool or fiber batting where dust mites can nest. Our materials include GOLS-certified organic latex and GOTS-certified organic cotton, which you won’t find in most big-box mattresses.
