Getting your new Essentia mattress ready is easy! Follow these four simple steps to get set up and one step closer to a better night’s sleep. 

Step 1: Bring the box into your bedroom

Move the mattress box into the room where your mattress will stay before unboxing it. Your mattress is much easier to move while it’s still in the box, helping you avoid unnecessary lifting or potential damage once it’s unpacked.

Step 2: Remove the rolled mattress from the box

If possible, ask someone to help. One person can steady the box while the other carefully pulls the rolled mattress out from the opposite end.

Step 3: Unroll the mattress and remove the packaging

Place the rolled mattress on your foundation, then carefully unroll it until it lies flat. Use scissors to cut away the outer plastic wrapping, taking care not to cut into the mattress cover or foam.

Step 4: Let your mattress expand and breathe

Your mattress may take anywhere from 20 minutes to a few hours to regain its full shape. You may notice a natural scent from the organic latex as you unpack it.

Once your mattress has expanded, it’s ready to enjoy!
