Essentia is proud to manufacture our organic mattresses and pillows in our GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic factory in Canada. 

As a leader in the organic mattress revolution, Essentia has been handcrafting our products for over 19 years in Laval, Quebec, and ship them right to you. We source all raw ingredients and mix them on-site to create an Essentia organic mattress. The final product contains no or negligible foreign content. True mattress manufacturers are few and far between and only a handful of brands like us produce their foams. Many brands rely on outsourcing layers or the entire mattress.

For many consumers, mattress assembly factories and mattress manufacturing are the same things but this is a common misconception. There is a clear difference between each process. Not to mention most bed-in-box brands manipulate this to their benefit by contracting Chinese companies for components and a different company for packaging, allowing them to hide the true source and true quality of their components.
