Can there be slight variations in mattress dimensions?Updated 10 days ago
Yes! Because Essentia mattresses are made with organic latex foam and feature hand-sewn organic cotton covers, slight variations in dimensions are normal. You can generally expect your mattress to be within 1 inch of its standard dimensions.

| Full | 54" × 75" |

| California King | 72" × 84" |
How Tall Is an Essentia Mattress?
Mattress height varies by model:
Grateful Eight: 8"
Tatami: 9"
Stratami: 8" or 10", depending on the model
Classic REM5 Active: 10"
Dormeuse REM9 Active: 10"
Why Might My Mattress Dimensions Vary?
A few factors can affect your mattress's final dimensions:
Compression during shipping: Your mattress is compressed and rolled for delivery. Leaving it boxed for too long can affect how fully it expands.
The inner liner: Occasionally, the liner beneath the cover can bunch or pull down the corners. You may be able to correct this by carefully unzipping the top cover and adjusting the liner so the foam has room to expand.
The organic cotton cover: Our GOTS-certified organic cotton covers are hand-sewn, and a slightly snug fit can temporarily affect the mattress dimensions as the foam expands.
What Should I Do If My Mattress Seems Too Small?
Give your mattress time to settle into its full shape. We recommend sleeping on it for at least 30 nights to allow the foam to adjust and the cover to relax.

Important: Unpack your mattress within 30 days of delivery.
Your Essentia mattress must be unpacked within 30 days of delivery to keep your warranty valid. Leaving it compressed for longer than this can affect its ability to expand properly and will void the warranty.
